London Array

Wind Turbine

£250.00

The London Array is the world’s largest wind farm, located in the Thames Estuary and supplying up to 2500 gigawatts over a year to the Big Smoke. Each turbine stands over 80 meters tall, with blades 60m long. There are 175 turbines in the array, covering an area over 122 square kilometers. Plans to expand it by another 166 turbines were cancelled in order to not disturb local populations of red-throated divers.
