Opened in 1981, the Grafenrheinfeld power station put out nearly 1400 megawatts of power, more than double the entire London Array’s peak output capacity. The station was shut down in 2015 as part of Germany’s decision to phase out nuclear power after the Fukushima disasters.
About special editions
Papafoxtrot Special Editions are selections from our archive of unique prototypes and limited run productions that were impractical for mass production but we love too much to keep to ourselves. Each piece is hand made in our workshop (well, with the help of the occasional CNC . . .) and has a specific history of when and why we made it. As working prototypes, the pieces have occasional imperfections and traces of work - conditions are noted in the product description and visible in the images below, but if you have any questions please feel free to get in touch through our contact form.
