Buoys help make the ocean legible to us land-lubbers - they give us eyes and ears and reference points on the open seas.
Observation buoys let us know whether it is raining in the middle of the Atlantic, or if a tsunami is building in the Pacific. Lateral buoys mark out the port (left) and starboard (right) edges of shipping channels and keep ships from running aground when coming into harbor.
This fleet includes four wood buoys with bouncy silicon bases.
Parts are interchangeable between all buoys, create you own!
